Franciszek Gołomb House

Formation of the Street

Akademika Mykhaila Kravchuka Street, located in the Lychakivskyi district of Lviv, was laid out around 1900 on the grounds of the former Bonifrater Monastery and military hospital. Initially, it lacked an official name and was known as a side street off Hofman Street. In 1946, it was renamed after Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, and in 1993, it received its current name in honor of the prominent Ukrainian mathematician Mykhailo Kravchuk.
