Formation of the Street
Smаль-Stotskoho Street is located in the Frankivskyi District of Lviv. Until 1992, it bore the name Belinsky Street, in honor of a Russian literary critic. In 1992, the street was renamed after Stepan Smal-Stotsky — a Ukrainian linguist, ethnographer, and public figure. The street runs parallel to Horodotska and Heroiv UPA Streets, forming a residential and commercial quarter near the Pryvokzalnyi Market and the “Skrynia” shopping center.
