Formation of the Street

Khorvatska Street is located in the historical Klepariv district of Lviv. Established in the early 20th century, it underwent several name changes—initially “Yanivska Bichna,” later “Vilnist,” “Schinderberggasse” under occupation, then “Vilna,” and since 1993 it has borne the current name Khorvatska

The street’s architecture features Vienna Secession and Neoclassical styles, with row formations of four-story tenement houses built between 1912 and 1934, creating a uniform and elegant streetscape
