Formation of the street
Sharanevycha Street lies in the Zaliznychnyi District of Lviv (Levandivka and Pryvokzalna neighborhoods). It connects Brativ Mikhnovskykh and Zaliznychna Streets, with side-streets Cholovskoho and Zatyshna. Since 1993, it is named after Ukrainian historian Izidor Sharanevych. Former names include Traugutta (1895–1946) and Murmanska (1946–1993). The architecture features Classicism, Viennese Secession, and Constructivism.
