The outcomes of the Summer Schools were presented by Erika Giuliani, Coordinator of the Réseau Art Nouveau Network, during the 15th Advisory Forum on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, currently taking place in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia.
In her presentation, Erika Giuliani highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for a new generation of restorers capable of combining professional knowledge, practical skills, and a creative approach to addressing conservation and restoration challenges. She also presented the key values of the Summer Schools and the results of the 2025 educational programme.
The Summer Schools were organised within the framework of the international project “Art Nouveau as a New EUtopia” and combined hands-on work with heritage sites, professional exchange, and knowledge transfer to young specialists. In Lviv, the programme focused on practical areas including the restoration of mascarons, the study and conservation of polychrome decoration, and the restoration of historic entrance doors.
