As part of the World Art Nouveau Days in Lviv, the Horikhovyi Lviv Film Center hosted a screening of the feature film “Modigliani”, dedicated to the life and artistic journey of one of the most remarkable artists of the early twentieth century — Amedeo Modigliani.
The film immersed viewers in the atmosphere of Belle Époque Paris, a time of bold artistic exploration, cultural experimentation, and the emergence of new artistic movements. It was during this period that the creative environment closely connected with Art Nouveau and modernism flourished and left a lasting impact on world culture.
The screening offered a wonderful opportunity not only to learn more about the life of this outstanding artist but also to experience the spirit of an era that introduced a new vision of beauty, creativity, and artistic freedom. Through Modigliani’s personal story, viewers were able to explore the fascinating and complex world of an artist whose inspiration, talent, and pursuit of artistic excellence were intertwined with the challenges of his time.
We sincerely thank the Horikhovyi Lviv Film Center for its hospitality and partnership, and all visitors for their interest in art and participation in the events of the World Art Nouveau Days in Lviv.
Events like this once again remind us that art is a universal language that connects generations, cultures, and eras, helping us better understand the past while inspiring the future.
