As part of the World Art Nouveau Days in Lviv, an open-air children’s art plein air was held with the participation of students from the Okhra Creative Children’s Studio. The event took place at Yalanskyi Square in front of the Garrison Church, one of the city’s charming public spaces in the heart of Lviv.

The plein air provided young artists with an opportunity to practice painting from life, observe the city’s architecture, and experience the unique atmosphere of Lviv’s historic environment. Working outdoors, the children explored light, color, and composition while discovering new details and perspectives of their city.

Guided by the teachers of the Okhra Studio, the participants created vibrant artworks filled with creativity, sincerity, and affection for Lviv. Each drawing became a small story about the city, its architecture, and its distinctive character.

We sincerely thank the students and teachers of the Okhra Creative Children’s Studio for their inspiration, creativity, and participation in the World Art Nouveau Days programme. Events like this help children discover cultural heritage through art and foster a deeper appreciation of the city’s historic environment.
