As part of the World Art Nouveau Days in Lviv, a special chocolate workshop for children was held in partnership with the Lviv Chocolate Workshop.

During the event, young participants explored the beauty of Art Nouveau while creating their own sweet masterpieces. Inspired by the famous ceramic tiles produced by the workshops of Ivan Levynskyi, children decorated chocolate bars with colorful floral ornaments and decorative motifs characteristic of Lviv’s Art Nouveau heritage.

A unique feature of the workshop was the special collection of chocolate bars created by the Lviv Chocolate Workshop. The collection reproduces authentic ceramic tile designs from Ivan Levynskyi’s factory. As one of Lviv’s most influential architects, entrepreneurs, and promoters of Art Nouveau, Levynskyi played a key role in shaping the city’s architectural identity at the turn of the twentieth century. The ceramic tiles produced in his workshops continue to adorn many historic buildings throughout Lviv today.

The workshop offered children a creative and engaging way to connect with the city’s cultural heritage through art, imagination, and, of course, chocolate. It demonstrated that learning about history can be both educational and delicious.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Lviv Chocolate Workshop for their partnership, support of the World Art Nouveau Days in Lviv, and for creating a memorable experience that inspired children to discover and appreciate the rich heritage of our city.
